Wishes...

So this week for FHE we did our Christmas Wish Lists. Yes...Wish List. We started calling them wish lists b/c that is what they are. You wish for something and Santa gets to decide which wishes are fulfilled. This allows for some very big and very small wishes...I mean just look at the variety in out little family...Ethan has many things on his list (which grows longer each day...the cutoff day is Sunday and then they get sent to Santa) on of which is a bouncy ball, a small bouncy ball to be specific. Than Chad has a new job listed on his list. We don't stop what is written on the lists because a lot of time it is is a little insight into what the boys are really thinking.

So Wednesday rolls around and Ethan heeds his list off the fridge to add something else. He quietly sat and wrote it out all on his own, this is what it said....

To interpret for you it says "but get the hospital presents."

You see both boys came home from school with bags to put a present in for the candle lighters. They were explained that because it was for children sick in the hospital the presents needed to be new in the packaging....so Ethan had talked a lot about what to get on the way home form school. But after being home awhile I thought he'd forgotten.

But then he added this. We are so happy to have a little boy who loves to serve others in his own way.
